Anfi is the oldest association feline Italian. On 21 June 1950 the establishment of the association was made official, but its origins date back in 1934.In 1949 the Association sent 'in Paris a delegation, together with the delegates of the French Feline Federation and those of the Swiss Federation Felina, constitute officially the first international body for the promotion and dissemination of knowledge of the cat: the FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE FELINE - FIFe.
Anfi was one of the founders of the international organization which now coordinates the current Feline Associations National members, Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Brazil, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain , Israel, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Hungary.
FIFe is among all cat associations in the world the body more articulated that coordinates the most extensive territory catofilo.
Anfi had a wide spread in the 80s throughout the country and it was then that were created several regional sections and increased the number shareholders participating and pedigree released.
In a short time he reached the highest international level for importance and prestige, and it became one of the three largest member associations FIFe.
Thanks to hard work, commitment and professionalism, Anfi received his RECOGNITION Legal officer by the Italian ministerial decree of 6 August 1997. It and 'currently the only Italian association to have achieved this goal!
